About these charges

Water connection cost

This assumes we will do all the digging, pipe laying and connection work in the public highway within normal working hours (e.g. not overnight or during the weekend).

Water infrastructure charges

The full infrastructure charge has been applied; however, discounts are available for using water efficient fittings.

Sewerage infrastructure charges

An average infrastructure charge has been applied; however, further discounts are available if you do not connect rainwater to our sewer network.

Working in the road

Traffic management charges are set by the local council and charged whenever there is work taking place in the road. We’ve assumed the most expensive cost of a full road closure for this estimate.

VAT

This assumes 20% VAT. However, VAT isn’t applicable for new residential dwellings. There is a reduced rate of 5% for residential conversions.

Your completed application will be acknowledged within 5 calendar days. We will then visit your site and a quotation* for the work required will be sent within 28 days.
