If you need planning permission for your development, you should obtain this before applying for your new connection.
You will need to provide the following:
- The size of the pipe you plan to install
- Site location plan which shows the position of your development in relation to the surrounding area
- A drainage layout plan showing how you are disposing of foul and surface water (not applicable for standpipes, troughs, compounds)
- A schematic drawing will be required for any non-domestic premises (e.g. industrial, commercial, fire suppression etc.)
Important: In most cases, you will also need to provide us with a unique property reference number (UPRN) before we can complete your connection. If you are building a new property or converting an existing one, please register the property with the local council as soon as possible to avoid any delays to your connection.
